Don’t memorize long lists of isolated words – learn new vocabulary in context.
Research suggests you may need around 8–12 meaningful exposures to a word to truly remember it . Reading or hearing the word in varied sentences, stories, or dialogues gives those exposures more impact.
Seeing a new Arabic word used in different situations helps build rich mental connections to its meaning . For example, encountering the word for “book” in a sentence about a library, then in a story about a student, reinforces understanding better than a single dictionary definition.
Use example sentences, and try making your own – context will glue the word in your memory far better than rote memorization.
