Go Arabic didn't start as a program, it started as a problem.
Most people try to learn Arabic using the same old formulas - heavy grammar, long memorisation drills, zero immersion - and then wonder why nothing seems to stick. We understand that struggle. We've tried every book, every app, every YouTube video, and still did not find fluency. So we built what we wish existed.
Short lessons that are immersive, and possible to finish. Vocabulary focused learning that sticks without memorisation. A whole system designed for people who can't travel aboard, and can't commit to long classes, and can't waste another year trying.
Go Arabic is built on one simple idea - if it feels natural, you will finally speak Arabic.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Talhah.
A few years ago, I was exactly where most learners are today — overwhelmed by grammar-heavy books, memorising lists I would forget the next day, and feeling like I’d never actually speak Arabic. I didn’t grow up around native speakers. I didn’t travel abroad. And I didn’t have anyone to practice with.
But I still became fluent.
I built my fluency through immersive methods, visual learning, short daily sessions, and repetition that actually sticks. No long lectures. No heavy textbooks. No “study for 3 hours every night.” Just a realistic system that fit my life. And it worked.
Later down the line, my family and friends began asking for my help and support in learning Arabic. Their motivation was truly inspiring; they saw that I had managed to learn the language while living in the UK, without ever travelling to an Arabic-speaking country, all the while juggling significant responsibilities: family life, enduring endless hours of work and travel, and managing many other preoccupations. I sincerely appreciate that my success under those circumstances encouraged them to try learning Arabic for themselves.
However, I always observed that the Arabic learning programs they were using quickly overwhelmed them. I knew instinctively that the heavy focus on grammar and long memorisation methods would not be effective for everyone, particularly not for my elderly parents who wished to learn, nor for the uncles and aunties, or other parents who sought my help with their children's language acquisition.
The main challenge was that the methods which had worked for me were scattered. They were all resources I had personally tried, tested, and compiled in various files and folders for my own use, never gathered into one coherent place. I searched and searched for a program that would be suitable for my family and friends, and that resembled the effective approach that I had developed, but I could not find anything suitable.
This is when GOARABIC was founded.
GOARABIC exists for anyone who wants to learn naturally, at their own pace, without stress… especially those who can’t travel abroad, busy parents, students, or anyone who’s tried before and felt like it “wasn’t for them.” I've seen the yearning in your eyes to learn Arabic, and I truly desire for you to learn and understand this truly beautiful and eloquent language.
